This past week, I met with my mentor, planned out my final product, and finished my display board. I drove down to SMU on Tuesday, which turned out to be good timing because my mentor is leaving town this week. This visit was really productive for me because we discussed my original work and potential directions for my final product, and I left feeling prepared to take on all the work. Before that, though, I wrote my mentor visit assessment and final product proposal.
This week, I have the ISM gallery walk and etiquette lunch to look forward to. I look forward to sharing my past projects with Wakeland students because I’m proud of what I’ve accomplished in ISM. The difficult part, of course, is explaining my content without jargon and at a level that anyone can understand. Nevertheless, this will be good practice for my future presentations. I’m also excited to go to Legacy West on Thursday. Unfortunately, it looks like it’ll be rather cold that day, but at least it’s not supposed to rain like last time. I’m just glad we get to go and walk around Legacy West, and I’m looking forward to a little relaxation after DECA Districts, the gallery walk, and Solo & Ensemble are over at the end of this week.
