This past week, I finished up one portion of my final product and completed my product progress assessment. At this point, I have uploaded the XYMOL code to the conda-forge repository, and I still need to create additional walkthroughs and create a scientific poster. I also found out that my mentor is heading back to the US soon! Unfortunately, he won’t be at Research Showcase, but he will be at Final Presentation Night, and I hope to be able to go to his dissertation defense around the same time. Last week, I spent a lot of time preparing for Orchestra UIL. It paid off on Thursday when we received sweepstakes, and multiple judges complimented the harp section! I then had a busy weekend organizing the Mu Alpha Theta Middle School Math Contest (which ran smoothly despite all obstacles). I also went to see Radium Girls at Collin Theatre, since one of my old friends was a lead actor.
This week, I’ll be rehearsing for the Original Work speech that I missed and preparing for DECA State CDC. I will also need to update my digital portfolio with all my new assessments. I’m really looking forward to traveling and relaxing over spring break—I can’t believe it’s just two weeks away!
