This past Thursday, I was very happy to see my paper finally published online! Even better was that I received a full-text link to the paper that I could share anywhere because even I couldn’t get past the article paywall on Springer Nature. This has meant a lot to me, and I would like to work on another, albeit briefer, manuscript this year. This week, I plan on attending the team lunch with the other members of the Tao lab—I’m looking forward to meeting them but am maybe a little nervous. It’ll be a hectic day since the orchestra’s winter concert (which I’m excited for) is the same night.
Today, I also took my Calculus III final—it feels very surprising that it has come so fast. I’m very excited to finally be done with the course, although I will still have plenty to do with my other classes and college applications. If I can help it, I don’t think I’ll be taking an online math course in the future because it’s simply not for me. I also plan to further work on my Jupyter notebook to explain the process of evaluating machine learning models, and I’m looking forward to seeing my original work come together.
